Just Wright (2010– 100mins) Queen Latifah, Common

   Just Wright is another romantic film with Queen Latifah which is a heartwarming fantasy tale. Leslie Wright (Latifah) is a physical therapist who ends up getting a pro basketball player as a client whom she subsequently falls in love with. This is another cutsie love story which stars Latifah ( Last Holiday, Valentine’s Day). If that sounds like a bad thing, well it’s really just not. Latifah has a beauty and charm about her that just makes you like her and makes her seem utterly genuine. She pulls off the every woman nicely and the story is predictable but well written. It’s paced nicely but still comes in about 10 mins longer then it’s needed to be. It doesn’t matter much tho b/c it’s still not too long and it’s enjoyable anyway. I am sorry I can’t say much more about the movie, but for a romantic movie it’s straight forward and an easy story to follow.

Verdict–> It might be simple and predictable but it’s a good movie. Another good date movie for a movie night with the Mrs, but if you miss it I am sure we will see it on TNT for the next 1000 years.
