Found this little G4tv interview with Felicia Day about her upcoming movie Rock Jocks (slated to be out 2012), when she tweeted it. She described it as “Clerks meets a science fiction movie”…. Um yeah sign me up! I am sure with her being in it, there will definitely be a ton of geek world attention and hopefully help it do well. Prob, not a WIDE release, but hopefully wide enough that we can all find a way to see it on the big screen as well as help it make some money. After all cool sounding projects like this need to succeed to keep opening the door for abstract geek ideas to be made and keep the sci-fi and of course fantasy genre alive and popular in Hollywood.
